Londolozi Private Granite Suites, Sabi Sabi, South Africa
The 5-star Londolozi Granite Suites are set on the banks of the Sand River in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve which shares unfenced borders with the world renowned Kruger National Park. For the exclusive use of six guests (individually or as a private camp) there are three private suites.
Each suite has a private swimming pool and an outside riverview bath. Private Granite Suites can be booked individually or as a private camp for six guests, making it ideal for honeymooning couples or small groups celebrating special occasions. The Private Granite Suites do not accommodate children under the age of 16, unless guests book the camp exclusively.
Granite Camp has 3 large superior suites. They are hidden amongst the Granite rocks alongside the Sand River. Each suite has an outdoor shower as well as outdoor bath with incredible views. The pools at Granite Camp are large and can be heated.
Game drives at Londolozi are taken by professional, passionate and knowledgeable rangers and trackers, who amongst them have a wealth of 350 years of experience. With over 15 000 hectares of traversing wilderness, no two game drives are ever the same. Trackers sit up at the front of the Land Rover looking for fresh animal tracks, while rangers drive with astonishing skill into ravines and through thicket in pursuit of elusive animals, simultaneously wowing guests with their outstanding knowledge and unforgettable stories.
Many of the rangers and trackers at Londolozi grew up living off the land in these parts and therefore have an unmatched knowledge of both the area and the elements of nature within this wilderness wonderland. Londolozi boasts two of South Africa’s only 17 master trackers, which only adds to the excellence of the team and the experience they are able to deliver.
Each suite has a bedroom and lounge, indoor and outdoor shower, outdoor river view bath, air-conditioning, mosquito net, outdoor sala and private outdoor heated swimming pool. The double volume thatched central lodge includes lounge areas with comfortable seating, an extensive deck and dining area, outdoor boma and central swimming pool all with stunning river views.
Campfires, storytelling, red wine and good company are the hallmark of any winter safari. Coming from a long line of storytellers, Londolozi’s history is steeped in the tradition of campfire yarns told late into the night. In each of the 5 exclusive camps you can hear the whispers of our ancestors and embodied in our history, are the legends and myths of the mysteries and adventures of safari. Each camp has its own spirit and each has its own campfire which awaits you.
